PSU at the York

The York Theatre, the premiere Off-Broadway Theatre for new works, in conjunction with Cultural Conversations and The Penn State New Musical Theatre Festival are jointly producing two new works of theatre to be premiered in New York City at the York Theatre on April 5-6, 2008.
These interesting new works will be performed by the students Penn State’s School of Theatre. Penn State at the York is a revolutionary new program conceived by D. Susan Russell, Artistic Director of Penn State's Cultural Conversations, Raymond Sage, Artistic Director of The Penn State New Musical Theatre Festival, and Jim Morgan and Bryan Blythe of the York Theatre. Penn State at the York bridges the gap between a performance-focused academic institution and America's finest professional theatres. This new program allows the Penn State School of Theatre students to work with professional writers, composers, and lyricists in a professional theatrical venue.
